Some profile fields are optional, and certain details can be hidden using the App’s privacy controls.
Location Information
With your permission, Radar collects or processes your device’s precise location, including latitude and longitude, while you use the App. We use this information to suggest potential matches near you and determine whether profiles are within your selected distance range.
Other users are not shown your precise coordinates. They may see an approximate distance or general location derived from your location.
You can manage or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent nearby-match and distance-based features from working properly.

- Device type and operating-system version
- App version
- IP address

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising or behavioral profiling.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Other Users
Other registered users can view information you make public on your profile, which may include your display name, age, photos, hometown, approximate distance, and other attributes you choose to display.
Do not include information in your profile or messages that you do not want another user to receive.
Service Providers
We may provide limited information to vendors that help us operate the App, such as cloud-hosting, database, media-delivery, mapping, authentication, and SMS-verification providers. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable contractual and privacy obligations.
Safety and Legal Reasons
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request.
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms.

- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transfers
If Radar is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
5. Third-Party Services
Radar uses service providers and functional integrations to operate the App.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps services to display map-related features and help calculate distances used for matchmaking. Location and technical information may be transmitted to Google when these services are used. Google processes that information under its applicable terms and privacy policy.
We do not use Google Maps location information for third-party targeted advertising.
SMS and Cloud Services
We may use SMS providers to deliver one-time verification codes and cloud-service providers to host data, deliver photos and media, and support App functionality.
These external services may collect or process information under their own privacy policies.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include encrypted transmission using TLS and access controls for systems that store user data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain account security, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and satisfy legal obligations.
When you delete your account, your profile is removed from active use and your matches, chats, photos, and other account information are scheduled for deletion from our active systems. Limited information may remain temporarily in secure backups or be retained when required for fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and to object to or restrict certain processing.
The App also provides the following controls:
- Profile controls: You can edit your profile and control the visibility of certain optional details.
- Location permission: You can change Radar’s location access through your device settings.
- Account deletion: You can request permanent account deletion in the App by going to Settings > Delete Account.
- Privacy requests: You may contact us using the email address provided below.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a privacy request.
9. Tracking and Advertising
Radar does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.
We use third-party services only for functional purposes such as hosting, authentication, verification, mapping, security, and App performance. Whether an activity constitutes “tracking” is determined by the data practices of Radar and its service providers, as well as applicable platform rules and law.
10. Children’s Privacy
Radar is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information from them.
If we learn that an individual under 18 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and associated information. If you believe that someone under 18 is using Radar, please contact us.
11. International Data Processing
Radar and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the App, by email, or by another appropriate method. The date at the beginning of this policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
